  PowerPoint presentations from the 2011 Leadership conference will be posted to the HCLABCwebsite as (and when) we receive written authorization from the presenters to do so.

  Please note that not all presenters will allow their material to be posted on a public website (these presentations are, after all, their bread and butter).

  As per the Treasurer’s comments in the 2011 HCLABC Annual Report:

  "A significant portion of last year’s deficit arose from the timing of several large contracts that could not be recognized as revenue in the 2011 fiscal year. The majority of the associated revenues with these contracts will be recognized in Fiscal 2012. Looking ahead to the future, a conservative risk reduction financial approach has been implemented. This includes the decision not to hire a full time Executive Director, consolidation of cost centres, the proposed amalgamation of the leadersforlife, HCLABC and Conference websites to reduce website maintenance costs and the reduction of office rental costs. A fiscally conservative approach has helped keep HCLABC in strong financial health on a go forward basis."
