The Health System at Large:

There are a variety of regional organizations with the mandate is to oversee and govern the operation of health service delivery within a specific region or province. In addition to having their own leadership needs, these larger systems also play a key leadership role in defining and shaping the broader context of the healthcare system. 

leadersforlife offers system-wide leadership development solutions.  It is actively involved in bringing the issue of leadership effectiveness to the fore in support of health system transformation.  leadersforlife is spearheading, along with some of its key partners, efforts to investigate, define, and promote the best available strategies for system-wide leadership development.  It will take a key role in providing on-the-ground leadership expertise to organizations working at the whole-system level.  This will include the development and promotion of strategies to lead change at the whole-system level.   

leadersforlife will make its own and its partners' expertise in leadership and health system transformation available by contract to all healthcare organizations working at the whole-system level. The specific content and nature of such engagements will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. 

Products and Services for SYSTEM-WIDE ORGANIZATIONS 

Organizations that serve a region or province at the whole-system level have many of the same requirements as other health organizations re leadership succession and development, just on a larger scale.  leadersforlife offers these organizations the same set of products and services as it does for organizations that deliver health care services.

leadersforlife consultants and partners can also offer the benefit of many years of focused expertise in leadership in the area of Health Systems Transformation, and in shaping the leadership development approaches that enable healthcare transformation to take place.  The leadersforlife Principals and Consulting Associates have extensive professional backgrounds in health policy and governance, innovative approaches for improving healthcare delivery, systems approaches for introducing change and managing organizational transformation, industrial psychology, executive coaching, and unique insights into the role of leadership in all of these areas. 

Rather than providing a specific set of programs and services at this level, leadersforlife prefers to work in partnership with national and international organizations whose mandate entails a whole-systems perspective on healthcare reform and transformation.  We use approaches such as Action Research and Action Learning to help share expertise and jointly develop innovative approaches to the health leadership challenges of the future.
