Student Members - Revised March 11, 2010

Student membership is for students who are enrolled in a program at the baccalaureate or higher level at an accredited degree-granting institution.

The intent of the student membership is to encourage students interested in health services management/administration to join their professional college at a very special rate such that membership does not cause an undue hardship given a student’s limited financial resources.

Student memberships are issued on the following basis:

  • Students are attending university on a full time or part time basis
  • Applications received by June 30 of any year will be valid for the remainder of that calendar year.
  • Applications received after June 30 of any year will be valid until December 31 of the following year.
  • Invoices are issued in November for the following year’s membership.
  • Students may remain members for a maximum of five (5) years as long as they are still enrolled in a program at an accredited degree-granting institution.
  • Student membership may be retained for the remainder of the membership year following the attainment of degree requirements.
  • In order to remain a College member, student members must re-apply for either Active or Associate membership upon completion of the program(s) or after five (5) years, whichever comes first.
