Our Mission is to Grow Canadian Health Leaders

Our mission is to support and grow emerging and experienced Canadian health leaders across Canada. We provide support for leaders who are currently employed in the health sector (sponsored by their employer or not), as well as citizens, community members, or youth who wish to lead in that sector. Support for the Leaders for Life vision and initiative is growing across Canada. 

 We are formally associated with the Canadian College of Health Service Executives and many of the governments and health authorities in many provincial jurisdictions.  Our LEADS in a Caring EnvironmentCapabilities Framework has been utilized to shape leadership development in many health organizations.  We have sponsored the development of for-credit and professional development programs in leadership and commissioned research into leadership in the universities of BC and across Canada. 

Leaders for Life is a founding partner of CHLNet and continues to collaborate with many of these organizations to promote enhanced leadership for health in Canada.
